A long hallucinatory one act about Charles Blackwell, author of many 1950s potboilers(e.g., “Insured By Smith & Wesson”), and the crazed denizens of the rooming house where he works.  Funny, scary, violent.

A hit at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre (in a production starring Laurie Metcalf, Bob Breuler and Jim True).  Subsequent productions in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, two in New York, Chicago, etc.

Script and production rights are available through Dramatists Play Service.
